About Us
Martin McCauleyMartin has more than 20 years experience of working with HEIs to participate effectively in EU Programmes. During that time he represented the HE Sector on national committees for ESF Programmes and devised a common costing framework for ESF projects. In recent years, Martin has delivered a series of events on EU Funding opportunities for HEIs and has visited many Institutions to deliver staff development activities.
Martin continues to work directly with HEIs to develop staff knowledge and skills and to help Institutions to identify appropriate EU Programmes for their Institutional strategies. He works with individuals and teams of colleagues to develop project ideas; identify appropriate funding opportunities and write applications. Martin also hosts events to help colleagues prepare for application rounds.
Joanne HoltDuring Joanne's 20 years of supporting UK HEIs to access EU Funding, she has developed a detailed knowledge of a wide range of EU Programmes offering opportunities for HEI involvement. She supports the International Unit, providing the monthly bulletin as a continuation of the work started at HEEFS.
Joanne works with colleagues in HEIs to identify funding opportunities; develop project ideas and produce successful applications.
Currently, Joanne is providing an external evaluation service for a project funded under the Lifelong Learning Programme involving partners from the UK, Finland, Ireland and Austria.
